How do I create a SynAppz account?

Creating a SynAppz account is easy:

  1. Download the SynAppz app from the App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Open the app and tap "Sign Up"
  3. Choose to sign up with your email, phone number, or continue with Google/Apple
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your profile setup
  5. Select your interests to personalize your content feed
  6. Start exploring and connecting!

Note: SynAppz is currently in development and will be available soon.

How do I set up my profile?

To set up your profile:

  1. Tap on the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar
  2. Tap "Edit Profile"
  3. Add a profile picture by tapping the camera icon
  4. Fill in your display name, username, and bio
  5. Add any links to other social profiles if desired
  6. Tap "Save" to update your profile

A complete profile helps others find and connect with you on SynAppz.

How do I navigate the SynAppz app?

SynAppz has a simple navigation system with five main sections:

  • Home: Your main video feed where you can scroll through content
  • Explore: Discover new content, search for videos, and find trending topics
  • Create: The center button that lets you record and share new videos
  • Inbox: Access your messages and notifications
  • Profile: View and edit your profile, see your content, and access settings

You can switch between these sections using the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

How do I create and share a video?

To create and share a video on SynAppz:

  1. Tap the center "+" button in the bottom navigation bar
  2. Grant camera and microphone permissions if prompted
  3. Choose video length and any effects you want to use
  4. Hold the record button to capture footage or tap to start/stop recording
  5. Use the editing tools to trim, add music, text, or effects
  6. Add a caption, hashtags, and select visibility settings
  7. Tap "Post" to share your video
How does the video feed work?

The SynAppz video feed is designed for seamless browsing:

  • Videos play automatically as you scroll through your feed
  • Swipe up to see the next video
  • Swipe down to see the previous video
  • Your feed is personalized based on your interests and interactions
  • The "For You" tab shows content tailored to your preferences
  • The "Following" tab shows content from accounts you follow
How do I interact with videos?

There are several ways to interact with videos on SynAppz:

  • Like: Tap the heart icon to like a video
  • Comment: Tap the comment icon to view or add comments
  • Share: Tap the share icon to send the video to friends or share on other platforms
  • Save: Tap the bookmark icon to save a video to your favorites
  • Profile: Tap the creator's profile picture to visit their profile
  • Follow: Tap the "Follow" button to follow the creator

The more you interact with content, the better SynAppz can personalize your feed.

Friends & Community

How do I find friends on SynAppz?

There are several ways to find friends on SynAppz:

  • Contacts: Connect your phone contacts to find friends already using SynAppz
  • Search: Use the search function to find people by username or display name
  • Suggested Friends: Check the "Suggested" tab in the Friends section for recommendations
  • QR Code: Scan a friend's QR code from their profile to connect instantly
  • Social Media: Connect other social accounts to find mutual connections
How do I manage my connections?

To manage your connections on SynAppz:

  • View Followers/Following: Go to your profile and tap "Followers" or "Following"
  • Remove Follower: Go to your followers list, find the person, tap the three dots, and select "Remove"
  • Unfollow: Go to your following list, find the person, and tap "Following" to unfollow
  • Block User: Go to the user's profile, tap the three dots in the top right, and select "Block"
  • Friend Requests: Manage incoming friend requests in the Inbox tab
How do I message friends on SynAppz?

To message friends on SynAppz:

  1. Tap the Inbox tab in the bottom navigation
  2. Tap the message icon in the top right
  3. Select a friend from your contacts or search for them
  4. Start typing your message in the text field
  5. You can also send videos, images, and voice messages

You can also message someone directly from their profile by tapping the message icon.

Account Settings

How do I customize my profile?

To customize your profile:

  1. Go to your Profile tab
  2. Tap "Edit Profile"
  3. From here you can change:
  • Profile Picture: Tap the camera icon to upload a new photo
  • Display Name: Edit how your name appears to others
  • Username: Change your unique @username (if available)
  • Bio: Update your personal description (up to 150 characters)
  • Links: Add links to other social profiles or websites

Remember to tap "Save" after making changes.

How do I manage notification preferences?

To manage your notification settings:

  1. Go to your Profile tab
  2. Tap the settings icon in the top right
  3. Select "Notifications"
  4. Here you can toggle notifications for:
  • Likes and Comments: When someone interacts with your content
  • Followers: When someone follows you
  • Messages: When you receive direct messages
  • Mentions: When someone tags you in a comment or video
  • Video Updates: Updates about videos you've interacted with
  • App Updates: News and updates about SynAppz

You can also set quiet hours when you won't receive notifications.

How do I change app settings?

To adjust app settings:

  1. Go to your Profile tab
  2. Tap the settings icon in the top right
  3. Select "App Settings"

Here you can manage:

  • Theme: Choose between light, dark, or system theme
  • Language: Change the app language
  • Autoplay: Control video autoplay settings
  • Data Saver: Reduce data usage when on cellular networks
  • Accessibility: Adjust settings for better accessibility
  • Clear Cache: Free up storage space on your device

Troubleshooting

Why is the app running slowly?

If SynAppz is running slowly, try these solutions:

  • Clear Cache: Go to Settings > App Settings > Clear Cache
  • Update App: Make sure you're using the latest version
  • Restart App: Close and reopen the app
  • Check Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Free Up Space: Make sure your device has sufficient storage
  • Reduce Effects: Turn off some visual effects in Settings

If problems persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?

If you're experiencing login issues:

  • Check Credentials: Make sure your username/email and password are correct
  • Reset Password: Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen
  • Check Email: Verify your account if you received a verification email
  • Network: Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Update App: Make sure you're using the latest version
  • Try Alternate Login: If available, try logging in with Google, Apple, etc.

Why can't I upload videos?

If you're having trouble uploading videos, check these common issues:

  • Internet Connection: Make sure you have a stable connection (WiFi recommended)

  • Permissions: Check that SynAppz has permission to access your camera and storage
  • Format: Make sure your video is in a supported format
  • App Version: Update to the latest version of SynAppz

Try recording directly in the app instead of uploading if problems persist.
